- Graduated with Honors from the Higher Institute of Medical Sciences of Villa Clara, Cuba
- Continued her studies with a Comprehensive General Dentist Specialty and a Master of Science in community oral health
- Graduated with Honors from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in the United States
- Completed an orthodontics fellowship at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine
